Black is one of the most popular lingerie colors. It is sometimes referred to as the "Ultimate Dark". Black lingerie was not always so popular. Until somewhere around the 1920's, lingerie was primarily white. Around that time it made a slight shift to other colors such as light pastels. These lighter colors were immediately embraced by women everywhere and eventually led the way to the plethora of colors we now enjoy.

There are many times when a special hairstyle is necessary and homecoming is one of those times. Homecoming hairstyles are important for both girls and guys, but the girls are the ones who are most concerned with the style. You can find many girls looking through magazines and the like in the weeks prior to homecoming trying to find the perfect style. Many girls choose an updo, although there are plenty of homecoming hairstyles that are more natural and flowing. Really, the best homecoming hairstyle for you will depend on whether your hair is short or long, straight or curly, and even the hair's texture.

What is the reason for sporting a thong? People often prefer to wear a thong during their spring break.  There can be a number of reasons for this. They go well with the skimpiest outfit you may wear. If you do not have a bathing swim suit with you, you would prefer a thong to full panties that are boring. Comfortable thongs can make you feel very sexy.

Get going to your favorite mall. Don't buy your first thong online if you are embarrassed to shop for one. The retail shops of Victoria's Secret or Frederick's will offer a wide selection of thongs. Department stores often offer a cheap selection of thongs in their lingerie departments.

Pick a thong style that you like. As the coverage goes, there are different kinds of thongs. A G-string is the skimpiest of thongs, having no waist band and providing the least coverage. A T-string gets its name from the wide waistband that forms a T-shape in the back. A V-string has a wider coverage than a G string, even though it has no waist band. The thong that offers the most modesty is called a tanga and tends to be the best of the lot for swimming. It offers more coverage than a bikini, but is still quite revealing.

Test it out. Thongs aren't exactly the picture of comfort. When you look at buying a thong, make sure you're choosing one that fits you properly. A good thong should not just look good, it should fit well and not feel itchy while you are wearing it. A good rule of thumb is if it is not comfortable and feels scratchy the first time you try it then it's going to feel scratchy the next time you wear it too. You should talk to the sales attendant to determine the best way to test a thong. Many stores won't let customers try on thongs because it would be unsanitary. I think you understand why.
 

You should not keep lots of thongs. Once you're in the lingerie shop, you won't be able to stop yourself from buying several thongs. You don't want to be stuck with a lot of things you aren't comfortable wearing. The best way to decide if a thong is right for you is to buy it and wear it all day. Only then will you be able to return to the shop and purchase some more.
